Deals with general University administration and Management.

Masters in Medicine from a recognized University/Institution and must be registered with the
Tanganyika Medical Council.
Basic Duties
To undertake all specialised medical duties and consultancies pertaining to their areas of
specialisation.
Salary Scale: PMGSS 13
13. POSITION: BIOMEDICAL ENGINEER II (2 Positions)
Required qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Biomedical Engineering OR its Equivalent from a recognized
University/Institution. He/She must be registered by Engineers Registration Board.
Basic Duties
To conduct and supervise repair and maintenance of medical equipment
Salary Scale: PMGSS 7
14. POSITION: BIOMEDICAL TECHNICIAN II (4 Positions)
Required qualifications
Diploma in Biomedical Engineering, (NTA Level 6), FTC, City & Guilds I & II (CGLT),
Higher National Cert. (HNC) OR its Equivalent from a recognized Institution
Basic Duties
To repair and maintain medical equipment
Salary Scale: PMGSS 5
